U18 management announced for 26/27
Halesowen Town are pleased to announce that Luke Beardsmore (Manager) alongside George Harrison (Assistant) and Tom Leadbetter (Assistant) have been appointed for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

All three are no strangers to football club as they continue to work in all different areas of the club:
Luke has worked within the academy for the last three seasons and brings great depth and detail to his coaching and management. He has a brilliant understanding of how to develop players alongside understanding the standards set at the club on and off the pitch. Luke has been working in the women’s senior game for the last few seasons at Stourbridge and Leafield so has a good amount of experience for a young manager.
George is no stranger to the Yeltz as he is the analyst for the Mens senior team alongside coaching for the Womens team as well as in the academy. George again will bring detail to training and with his analysis experience will be able to give players lots of individual and collective information to help development.
Tom alongside Luke finished off the season involved with the 18s and helped keep the team in the Midland Floodlit Southern Premier League. Tom is very focused and holds the players to a very high standard. He has great passion for the game and also developing his own coaching alongside the players.
Head of Academy and Youth Development Craig Nicholls had this to say
“Im really pleased to get these three lads signed up for the 18s. They bring amazing passion for the game and are very close group.
“All three graduated together from Wolverhampton Unversity so have had a great coach education from Russ Smith, Martin Harrison and Kerys Harrop.
“I see the lads every day within the academy and the only thing they talk about is football.
“Luke and Tom with the help of Paul Rodgers finished the season last year on a real high with the 18s so it was a no brainer to lock them in for the upcoming season.
“Im really looking forward to seeing the progression of the new squad and hopefully we can push some of the player towards the first team.
“We have four lads from the academy and 18s training with the first team for pre season which is the pathway we as a club want to create”
Craig.
