Halas Hawks & Halesowen Town

We are pleased to announce that Halas Hawks Junior Football Club will be merging with Halesowen Town FC
ahead of the 2025/26 season. This is an exciting development for grassroots football in our area and marks the
beginning of a united, community-focused approach to youth football in Halesowen and the surrounding
areas.

From the start of the new season, Halas Hawks teams will begin operating under the Halesowen Town FC
name. Over the first 12 months, the transition will be gradual. Teams will continue to play in their existing
leagues, manage their own finances, and operate independently, with only a phased move across to
Halesowen Town kit and off-field wear as required.

This merger brings enhanced footballing opportunities across all age groups and abilities, including our long-
established disability provision. It strengthens the development pathway for young players, offering a clear

route from grassroots into Halesowen Town's U18, U21 and first team environments—for both boys and girls.
We are proud of the legacy Halas Hawks has built over many decades. That legacy will be preserved and
celebrated through our continued County FA affiliation and a dedicated online history that documents the
journey of the club up to the present day and beyond.
This partnership reflects a shared vision: to grow local football, provide meaningful opportunities to young
people, and create a long-term, sustainable model for the future. We are excited about what lies ahead and
look forward to continuing to work together with the local community to support the next generation of players
and fans.
