Match Preview | Redditch United (H)
Halesowen face off in a local derby against Redditch United with a chance at ending the day in the top 5 in sight

Head to Head
The two clubs have met 42 times since the start of the 1970’s, in which the Yeltz have won 17 (40%). We won just one of 12 meetings between the two from 1970-1988, but the won three in four from November 1988 – November 1989. Our most successful run in the last 50 years against Redditch, came from 1997-2003, where we won five of six contests. The dry patch we went through throughout the 1970’s and 80’s has crept back in, as since 2006, we have won just three of the 11 most recent contests, two of which in the last two meetings. We have lost just once in the four games we have played against the Reds under the management of Russ Penn.

Team Overview
In goal for Redditch, new man Tyrese Warmington has started all 10 league games. The 18 year old in his first season of senior football featured for the Birmingham City Academy last season, and will return to his parent club at the end of the month.
At right back, Joel Shambrook has started eight of their 10 league outings. In the midfield, attacking midfield and summer arrival from National League North King’s Lynn Town, Matt Warburton, has started eight league games this season after making 11 step 2 appearances last season. Ex-Yeltz duo Reece Flanagan and Robbie Bunn have started nine and six league games this season respectively, while Aram Soleman who missed the whole of last season through injury has started seven league games. Summer arrivals Liam Loughlan, Morgan Owen, and Max Martin have started four, one, and three league games this season respectively. Loughlan signed from step 4 Long Eaton United, of whom he featured 40 times, while Owen and Martin signed permanently from Solihull, both of which featured on loan at Redditch towards the end of last season, Owen 11 times and Martin six times. The final midfielder, Will Fielding, has made three appearances off the bench this campaign.
