Stan Straw joins on loan from Walsall on an initial one month loan, and teams back up with fellow loanee Charlie Wragg with whom the duo played together in the Sadlers Academy.

Straw, a 17 year old central defender, joins having featured in two of Walsall’s EFL Trophy games this season, against Shrewsbury Town and Northampton Town.

The youngster has previously played at non-league level, as he spent a short one month work experience loan at Alvechurch at the start of the year when he was just 16. Although he failed to make an appearance, he gained much needed experience of a first team environment.
