Club Statement: Stafford Rangers (A)

Following our statement last week, Halesowen Town can confirm that we have now reviewed the safety arrangements for Saturday’s FA Cup tie at Stafford Rangers.

Stafford Rangers have worked closely with the relevant authorities and both clubs to put comprehensive arrangements in place for the fixture. We would like to thank everyone at Stafford for the diligence and cooperation they have shown throughout this process.

We have also spoken with our police liaison contact at West Midlands Police, who is satisfied with the arrangements that have been put in place.

Halesowen Town will be taking a number of our own stewards to the fixture, alongside representatives from the club’s safety team, to support the arrangements on the day and provide a familiar point of contact for our travelling supporters.

We know there will be a large and passionate following from both clubs on Saturday. We ask everyone attending to enjoy the occasion responsibly, respect fellow supporters and staff, and be mindful of the safety of those around them.

We are looking forward to what should be an excellent cup tie between two well supported non-league clubs and hope Saturday provides a great advert for both non-league football and the FA Cup.
