Player Depature | Reece Mitchell

Halesowen Town FC can confirm that after three seasons as a Yeltz player, Reece Mitchell has departed the club.

Reece made a total of 133 appearances for the club having first joined the Yeltz under Paul Smith in the summer of 2023 from Rushall Olympic after our promotion to step 3 in the previous campaign 

Reece made 42 appearances in his first season at the club, and picked up his only goal for the Yeltz in an FA Cup game against Alvechurch in September 2023.

The Yeltz number 24 made 42 appearances in the 2024/25 season, before making 49 last season. Reece picked up just the one assist during the campaign, but was more well known for his ability as a defensive fullback, and contributed to 8 clean sheets in games which he started

Reece made his 100th appearance for the Yeltz against Leek Town in an FA Trophy defeat at The Grove. At that point in time, Reece had missed just 11 games for the club in just over two years in a Royal Blue shirt.
