Ron Moseley announced as Yeltz Club President
We are delighted to announce Ron Moseley as our new Club President
Ron has been associated with the club for many years and is a much-loved and respected figure at The Grove. His long-standing commitment, deep understanding of the club and service across a number of roles over the years make him a natural fit to follow Colin Brookes as Club President.
Ron’s connection with the Yeltz goes back to his early years, having grown up close to The Grove and following the club from a young age. He later became involved behind the scenes at the club, going from supporter to serving the club as commercial lead, Chairman, and most recently, Vice-President.
His contribution was particularly important during one of the most significant periods in the club’s modern history. Following the ‘Glory Years’ of the 1980s, Ron played a key role in supporting the club’s progress and helping to drive forward improvements at The Grove as Halesowen Town looked to establish itself at a higher level of the non-league game.
The Moseley name remains closely associated with Halesowen Town. Ron’s nephew, Nigel Moseley, is a current club director, continuing a proud family connection with the Yeltz.
Ron takes over the role from the late Colin Brookes, following his passing in November 2025.
Colin gave outstanding service to Halesowen Town across many years and is dearly missed. After spells as interim manager, he served as Chairman from 2009 to 2016 before becoming Club President in 2018, a role he served with distinction until his passing. He will forever remain one of the club’s most influential figures.
Colin leaves a remarkable legacy, but in Ron Moseley the club has another true gentleman who embodies the values of Halesowen Town.
