Match Preview | Bromsgrove Sporting (A)
Halesowen face their penultimate away game of the season with a short trip to Bromsgrove with both sides in need of three points

Head to Head
There have been just the five meetings between the two sides since our opponents were founded back in 2009. We have won four of the five meetings, that subsequently hasn’t yet featured a draw. The most recent game came in January just two days after the start of a 2026 which has seen the Yeltz win just three of our eight away matches. The game in January saw the visitors took the lead just three minutes into the game. A Billy Shaw ball across the six yard box was cleared out by former Yeltz man Alex Gudger, before the corner taken by Shaw hit Aaron Roberts at the back post and fell to former Sporting striker Tyrone Lewthwaite. The Yeltz equaliser came just after the hour mark, and it did feel like it was coming. A run and cross from Ben Cassidy down the left found Kyle Finn from a matter of yards out for a simple tap-in. It took Russ Penn’s side a little over five minutes to completely turn the game on its head by getting a second. A long ball forward from Josh Smile found Fin Holmes down the left up against Roberts. The Yeltz teenager ran over half of the pitch, before moving towards the by-line to slam the ball at an angle past Rory Brown. Three minutes later, we wrapped it up with the third, as a Holmes cross was knocked in by Ryan Wollacott.
