Welcome to the Yeltz, Callum Ebanks 🤝
The club are delighted to announce our sixth summer signing ahead of the 2026/27 season, as striker Callum Ebanks joins the club following his departure from National League North side Buxton FC last month

The 23 year old started his career in the Cheltenham Town academy. At the age of 17, he got his first taste of a first team senior environment on loan at then step 5 Worcester City for a month in December 2019, but didn’t make a league appearance.
The striker proceeded to join step 5 Tuffley Rovers on loan in February 2020, and scored twice in one league appearance until the Covid pandemic hit. Ebanks made his first appearance for Cheltenham’s first team in November 2020, and was even an unused substitute in an FA Cup Third Round match against Pep Guardiola’s Man City two months later, but he had to wait until August 2021 for more senior football.

He joined step 4 Evesham United on loan. In his four months at the club, he scored nine goals in 13 league appearances. He started 12. Callum joined step 3 Bromsgrove Sporting on loan in December 2021, and spent the rest of the 2021/22 season at the Rouslers, scoring three goals in 15 league appearances.
At the age of 20 in the summer of 2022, was where his career really started to kickstart. He had a nine game loan at National League Eastleigh for the first three months of the 22/23 campaign, before making seven National League South appearances on loan at Bath City. He scored one goal a piece for the two sides.

Still contracted at Cheltenham at the start of 2023, he joined step 3 Stratford Town on an initial loan to team up with also new Yeltz man Lewis Ison. After scoring six goals in 15 league appearances to end the season, he joined the Bards permanently in the summer of 2023 and ended his long association with Cheltenham Town FC.
For the next two seasons at Stratford, Ebanks scored an incredible 35 goals in 67 league games, ultimately earning him a move to National League North Buxton last summer. He failed to score in 12 league appearances for the Derbyshire side, but in December went on loan to fellow step 2 Bedford Town, and scored three goals in 16 league outings.

Everyone at the club would like to welcome Callum to the Yeltz 🤝
