Donnelly Departs For National League Football

Kieren Donnelly is moving on from Halesowen Town for full-time football in the National League.
He has been an instrumental part of the Yeltz squad since his arrival in October 2022, and we wish him all the best for his next adventure.
During his spell with Halesowen he made over 100 appearances, finding the net 50 times. On his debut Kieren scored twice in a 4-3 away win against Shepshed Dynamo, instantly becoming a Yeltz hero.
He has left us with many other memorable goals in Royal Blue including: a vital equaliser against Spalding on-route to winning the play-off final in 2023, multiple goals against Stourbridge, a hat-trick against Lowestoft, and putting us into the lead against Telford in the play-offs last season.
Chairman Keith McKenna said: “I wish Kieren nothing but success in his dream to play full-time football.
“He has been amazing for the club, and I am proud of how we have developed him. Our process has proved that we are getting the very best out of our players.
“He will be welcomed back at any time.”
Manager Russ Penn also added: “Kieren has been a fantastic servant to the club.
“He always wears his heart on his sleeve, and his desire to play full-time further up the pyramid is something as a club we should be really proud of.
“We all wish him the best, and look forward to welcoming him back in the future.”
