Welcome back, Kyle Finn!

Halesowen Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Kyle Finn from Tamworth.

Kyle becomes our latest player to join the 2025/26 squad, and returns to The Grove after spending three years with The Lambs.

He started his career with Coventry City’s youth academy, debuting for the senior side in August 2017 in an EFL Cup clash against Blackburn Rovers.

Kyle moved on to play for Hereford FC, and featured in their FA Trophy final at Wembley in 2021. He also had a couple of loan spells at Stourbridge, and Rushall Olympic during that time.

His move to the Yeltz came in the 2021/22 season, where he scored on his league debut away at Cambridge City in a 2-1 Halesowen win.

Most recently Kyle has played his football at The Lamb Ground, but will be donning the Halesowen Royal Blue this season.

Russ Penn was very happy to get the deal over the line, “This has been a player we’ve been really keen on, but we didn’t think it would happen.

“It’s all just fell nicely for us, and a huge thank you to our Chairman, Tamworth’s Chairman, we are just delighted.

“He’s come back here looking fit and healthy, and has a great wealth of experience to add to our great squad.”

Kyle was also keen to return, “I’ve been here before and I loved my time here, so to be back again and the club going in the right direction it suits me right to the ground.

“There’s players in the changing room that I know already, and it’s a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to get started.”

Up The Yeltz!
