Butterfield and Willetts Sign, Mitchell Retained!
Halesowen Town Football Club are delighted to have secured the signatures of Milan Butterfield and Jamie Willetts for the 2025/26 season.
We are also extremely happy to have retained the services of Reece Mitchell for the new campaign.
Both Milan and Jamie featured in Royal Blue last season, and have made their permanent moves to The Grove.
Russ Penn noted:
“I’ve worked with Milan for a few years now, we’ve always kept in touch.
“I think he needs to be a little more ruthless, and more aggressive, but with his stature he can really take this league by storm. He was a big part of our end-of-season run-in, and when we get the best out of him we’ve a real player on our hands.”
“As for Jamie I am delighted, because I know he attracted a lot of attention. We’re local for him, and I think it’s a great fit for this part of his career.
“He’s a lad that stays fit, he’s aggressive, and it’s always something that I wanted to build with that height in the team and with Alex as well joining it gives us that.”
“Finally Reece, another key player to last season’s squad and to have him again, it helps build that consistency. He played a huge part in a good defensive record last year, and as you can imagine he attracted attention as well so to keep him onboard is huge.”
