As the season finale appears upon the horizon, we have three exclusive interviews over the next 3 days with three influential Yeltz figures. Team captain Ryan Wynter, vice captain Reece Flanagan, and club captain Dan Platt. First we grabbed a chat with Reece Flanagan to assess his first season at the club.

The Yeltz midfielder has experienced an extremely tough first year at the club after joining from Redditch United last summer. Flanagan scored on his competitive debut for the side, but was injured in just his third Yeltz appearance. The midfielder was then forced to miss 29 games, before being able to return to the pitch in February.
As the season draws to it's conclusion, Reece has featured 13 times since his return from the sidelines, and has played a pivotal part in the unbeaten run. The Yeltz have lost just twice in the 17 games Flanagan has featured for the side this season, and just once in the 10 he has started.
We had a chat with our midfielder to get an insight into his difficult nine months at the club. The midfielder also spoke on his most memorable moment at the Yeltz so far and our upcoming play-off game at AFC Telford United this Wednesday.
"I have found this season a huge challenge. I felt good in my first few games for the side, and that there was a good gel to the team. The injury was a huge setback, especially so early on, but the lads helped me out a lot in that period.
"It was a rollercoaster, going to and from consultant meetings. I never foresaw missing 29 games when I first joined, and it is never something I have been plagued with in my career. The chairman, the fans, the gaffer and my teammates all helped me along the journey, and I can not thank them enough for that.
"I joined the Yeltz with Ryan Wollacott, who I spent the whole season with last year. The fact I have had him, and then Alex Cameron join up with the squad as I returned from injury. It definitely helped me fit in, especially after going such a long time without being able to properly spend time with all my teammates.
"I am fortunate to be in back to back play-off campaigns, last year with Redditch and this season here. I am desperate to right the wrongs of my play-off journey last year, and get a historic promotion to step 2 here at Halesowen. The lads need the fantastic support from our fans this season to continue on Wednesday. It is a tough game at a difficult ground, but we are on a long unbeaten run, and full of confidence amongst the group.
"My favourite moment at the club so far was the first game, when I scored my first and only Yeltz goal. At the time we were not sure where the squad was at with it being the first game of the season. We played Kettering that day, and won, which gave us a huge boost looking forward to the games and months that followed."
