HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to announce the latest player to commit to Russ Penn's Yeltz ahead of the forthcoming season.

​

Defender Tom Taylor has committed to the Yeltz for 24-25 having joined the club last season making 16 appearances.

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted today to announce Russ Penn's latest signing ahead of the forthcoming 2024-25 season.

​

Striker Adi Yussuf has signed for the Yeltz having Played for Banbury United and Kettering Town last season scoring a combined 18 goals.

​

Having begun his career at Leicester City Adi has had a wealth of Football League experience including Burton Albion, Grimsby Town and Crawley Town and has represented Tanzania at international level.

​

''I'm delighted, ''Russ Penn commented, ''Adi is a proven goalscorer from the levels above, it was his first season at step 3 last season, and managed to get 18 goals, 9 in the step above for Banbury and 9 for Kettering. He has experience up top which is what we need.''

​

''I'm really looking forward to getting started'' Adi stated, ''some familiar and friendly faces, I've worked with Gary Whild before and I know the Gaffer from playing against him in the past, really excited and looking forward to the challenge.''

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to unveil Russ Penn's latest addition to his backroom staff.

​

Goalkeeping coach Lewis Solly has joined Russ's backroom team for the forthcoming 2024-25 season.

​

A veteran of over 400 appearances for our neighbours Stourbridge Lewis brings with him a wealth of experience.

​

''I’m delighted to bring in a Goalkeeper coach of such experience to the level, ''Russ Penn commented. ''A local one that knows the area and the non league scene. Lewis will provide great assistance to Dan Platt and to the club as a whole. This is a great addition to club in more ways than one. Welcome to this fantastic football club Lewis.''

On joining the Yeltz Lewis added, ''I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the gaffer and his team at Halesowen Town, it was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down, after speaking to the gaffer it was an easy decision to make. Halesowen are on the rise I’m confident we will be challenging at the top end of the league come the end of the season.''

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted today to confirm Russ Penn's latest signing ahead of the upcoming 2024-25 season. 

​

Attacking midfielder Conor Tee has joined the Yeltz having been Bromsgrove Sporting's star player last season before moving to Rushall Olympic where he helped them to retain their place in the National League North.

​

Conor, 23, played a total of 42 games last season scoring 13 goals.

​

Yeltz fans will remember the worldie of a goal he scored against us last season.

​

''Conor is the first player I tried to sign when I arrived back in February,'' Russ Pen Stated, ''Conor can play in numerous attacking position. But the key for me is he is unbelievably fit, provides good numbers and most importantly has quality. I welcome Conor to Halesowen Town.''

Defender Ryan Wollacott has joined the Yeltz having previously starred for Redditch United last season.

​

Also joining us is Redditch United's top goal scorer last season, midfielder Reece Flanagan.

​

''I am absolutelty delighted to get our top two targets through the off season,'' Russ Penn stated, ''both players suit the way we play and it shows the club's ambition for the forthcoming season. Reece is probably one of the best players around in his position at this level, Ryan is a top no nonsense defender, and I'd like to say he's the final piece of the jigsaw in that department.''

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB can confirn that Miracle Okafor has left the club to join National League side Tamworth FC for an undisclosed fee.

​

Since joining the Yeltz from Sporting Khalsa last Summer Miracle scored 21 goals in 46 appearances.

 

''Miracle has had a great season'' Chairman Keith McKenna stated, ''and it comes as no surprise that we have had the level of interest shown in him. I am delighted we have given him the platform and structure to develop, improve and ultimately progress. A fantastic young man and we wish him nothing but success. Good luck Miracle.''

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to bring you details of Russ Penn's first new signing of the closed season.

​

Defender Ben Cassidy has joined the Yeltz having previously enjoyed a successful spell at Alvechurch, establishing himself in the defence with well over 100 Church appearances.

​

Ben also received the Chairman's player, Director's player and Supporter's player of the season awards last season.

​

Speaking to Matt Ponter from Radio Halesowen Russ had this to say, ''I'm delighted, Ben fits the mould of what we are, fit, young energetic, good footballer, up and down, a no brainer to get this wrapped up.''

​

Matt Ponter also caught up with Ben for his thoughts on signing for the Yeltz, ''I'm really excited at being at a really big club, I think we'll be really competitive this season and be right up there, It's always been one of those pitches that you look forward to playing on, obviously now with the crowd behind me. A club of this size, it didn't take much to convince me to join.''

Russ Penn welcomes his first new signing Ben Cassidy to the Grove

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to confirm three more players who have committed to the Yeltz as Russ Penn continues to build his squad for the 2024 - 25 season.

​

Defender Ryan Wynter will be with the Yeltz for next season. Ryan finished last season with 44 appearances scoring 3 goals including that Number 9 derby winner at the Grove back in January.

​

Attacking midfielder Kieren Donnelly is the next who has agreed to stay next season. KD scored 13 goals in 40 appearances last season with a Yeltz career so far of 23 goals in 69 games.

​

Defender Reece Mitchell continues his journey with the Yeltz for next season. Reece finished the season with one goal in 42 appearances, and what a goal it was in the 5-2 win against Alvechurch in the FA Cup.

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB can confirm the latest players to commit to the Yeltz for the 2024-25 season.

​

Midfield duo McKauley Manning and Todd Parker have both committed their future to the Yeltz as Russ Penn continues to build his squad for the forthcoming season.

​

McKauley ended the season with 7 goals in 39 appearances and a Yeltz career of 20 goals in 131 appearances.

​

Todd amassed 45 appearances last season, scoring once.

​

Academy and Youth Team player Luke Postle has taken up the option of his second year of Academy education and will be joining the first team again next season.

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to confirm the first players to commit to the 2024-25 season as Russ Penn looks to build his squad.

Goalkeeper Daniel Platt and Fullback Jak Hickman have both committed to the Yeltz for next season.

​

Platty finished the season with a total of 294 games, being ever present last season.

​

Icky is currently on 41 games with three goals, both will be looking to add to these totals next season. 

​

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB can today confirm the first player to leave the club as Russ Penn looks to biuld his squad ahead of the forthcoming 2024-25 season.

​

Striker Richard Gregory leaves us after nearly 4 years at the Yeltz.

​

During his time Gregs made 100 Yeltz appearances netting 52 times, putting him 24th in the list of all time Halesowen Town goal scorers, with his first goal coming in the FA Trophy semi-final at Concord Rangers.

​

A firm fans favourite we'd like to thank Gregs for his services in a Yeltz shirt and wish him well for the future.
